Precautions before setting out on a journey

The Israel Trail offers hikers and track enthusiasts a variety of trails, each with its own unique character. But alongside the thrilling beauty and breathtaking scenery, precautionary rules during the journey are rules that are important to know and adhere to. More than once we have heard of situations where hikers have been injured during a hike due to inattention or as a result of improper equipment, nor are there any missing stories that ended even worse. If so, just before you embark on this arduous and experiential journey, you should be well prepared for it. Prepare a bag in advance with all the equipment you need, with marked maps and a sufficient amount of food and drink, prepare logistically and find a partner who can be by your side all the way. If you do not have a friend who is interested in joining, you can definitely find a partner. You are welcome to join us on a journey on the Israel Trail.

Caution on the Israel Trail

Get ready for a long stay in the field

Since this is a challenging journey and a long stay in the field, various and dangerous situations may remain. This is one of the main reasons why finding a partner for the route is important, since on an independent trip there will be no one who can help you in more difficult moments, certainly when in many parts of the route there may be difficulties in receiving the cell phone. It is recommended that you also let friends and family from home know where you are expected to be at all times, so that if the connection with you is severed there will be someone who will know where you are supposed to be – and send help.

Take care of yourself

Be sure to take plenty of water with you and make sure you know where you can fill your water supplies so you do not dry out along the route. Also prepare in terms of food and prepare in advance points along the route where you can rest and recover. A first aid kit can also help you along the way, if you feel unwell or stumble upon the more challenging parts of the route. The better you prepare and understand where you are going, the more you will be able to defend yourself and most importantly – enjoy the journey ahead. Organized trips on the Israel Trail are a real experience. Do not spoil it due to lack of planning or in the belief that everything will be fine.
