Preserve the environment

Israel is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, even if we are not very objective when we make such a statement. The rich nature that stretches before us in almost every corner of the country, from the southern end to the north, invites many hikers every week. Many families, independent hikers and organized groups regularly wash the Israel Trail and the various routes, enjoying the water reservoirs, the beautiful landscapes, the rich nature and fascinating historical sites. But alongside the experience and enjoyment there is one issue that sometimes we seem to forget to take care of and that is the issue of preserving the environment. In fact, it is recommended and important to prepare in advance also for the issue of environmental protection. For more information before setting out on a trip for Israel, contact us.

Important tips

Preserve the environment

Before you embark on a journey on the Israel Trail or on one of the many exciting routes that are spread out before you around the country, it is important to be equipped in advance with bags designed for dumping waste. Using trash bags is critical, and it will ensure you have somewhere to throw your food wrappers and fruit peels. You are probably wondering what can be done with the full garbage bags when in many parts of the route there are no trash cans at all, and our suggestion here is to tie the bag to the bag until you come across the next trash can and you can say goodbye to the accumulated waste. As much as possible, keep the bottles in a separate bag so you can throw them in the recycling bins. The Israel Trail can be a great experience for Israeli travelers and foreign tourists, keep it clean for them as well.

Prefer eco-friendly products
Many products are more friendly than others and pollute the environment much less. Disposable products degrade slowly and are harmful to the environment, so it is advisable to try – as much as possible – to replace disposable products with those that are multi-purpose. Replace the cutlery made of plastic with metal cutlery from your personal kitchen, and instead of paper cups for coffee that you make in the morning outside the tent, equip yourself with glass cups that can withstand the journey, thus preserving the environment while enjoying a more pampering cup of coffee. There are quite a few ways to try and reduce the environmental damage during your trip, so as you plan the route you will take on the Israel Trail, think about the environment as well.
