There is no doubt that when you embark on a journey on the Israel Trail, you think about the food issue quite a bit. It is important to streamline this process so as not to create glitches and problems that may interfere with the route. If you go on a journey with us on the Israel Trail in the south or north, you will have no need to worry about food. We take care of this and prepare it together with all the participants. But if you are still going on a journey alone – here are some tips to know.
Burying food for Israel
If you are going on a journey that starts from Jerusalem and ends in the desert (it is worthwhile to go through the Hanukkah activity in our desert) it is very important to make sure in advance to bury water and food on the trail. There you will have no where to get water and food unlike the northern area. Bring canned food and water. At least 6 liters per day per person. More than once it has happened that people have loaded too many boxes, and found that the backpack is too heavy, instead of storing food along the path.
Trips in the north
Whether it is planning trips for Hanukkah or any other trip, in the north you can get off the trail in many places to purchase food. In short trips of a few days, the food you take with you will be enough for you without you having to buy. Water can be filled in designated places along the way or purchased sixes within cities

Do not forget food-related equipment
When you embark on a journey on the Israel National Trail, known in English as the Israel National Trail, it is important to take care of the stove and iron utensils for preparing and cooking the food. Avoid using plastic utensils. They will not survive the summer and are also disposable so they will be ruined in the bag and will be a nuisance when it will be necessary to look for where to throw the garbage. It is also important not to forget a lighter to light the stove.
Food stands
If you go out during the holidays or weekends, you can always find food stalls in different places in certain villages. This way you can enjoy desserts on the go. A little tip: do not go on a journey or continue immediately after eating, it may cause vomiting. Eat, but give yourself at least 20 minutes before you set off.
